Any recommendations? Ideally one with a good shower block and a kids playground.

Been Cotswold veiw many times nice site but very popular and gets booked up very quickly, which speaks for itself. Cotswold wildlife zoo worth a visit for a day out and a dog friendly zoo you can take round on lead.

CMC site at Moreton in Marsh is very nice or Broadway CMC which is by steam railway.
