hi all ,
does anyone know if there, has been, or, will be , a site pricing update leaflet for 2022, and the season dates, cant find anything on the website, although on page 28 of the 2021 / 2022 site guide ,it says you can download one , or contact them,
thanks
stu.

Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
I doubt they will publish a leaflet any more as the pricing structure is so complex. Many CMC sites now have different prices for midweek and weekends and the prices changes up and down almost weekly. So the old days of low, mid and high season with 3 simple prices is long gone!

I think the Club are trying to reduce the "useless paper" they send out to members. I say useless because it would seem only a small minority of members would use such a list. We have also had several changes of VAT in the last two years which immediately renders a price list out of date. As mentioned the prices appear on the website for each campsite. There seem to be so many prices now for each site you might end up with a book the size of a telephone directory
thanks all , for your replies,
yes, i scrolled further down on the website listings, and now found the prices .
thats the first time i've seen different prices for weekend and midweek, was this introduced this year?
Been a member of CAMC a few years now, and don't recall universal pricing for all 7 days of the week based on season alone, think there have been peak rates for w/e for a while.
Pricing does seem to have got far more complicated at sites I've looked at for this year's stays though, may just be a site I've never looked at before, or a more complex pricing structure in general, a site in E Sussex has the price changing every two days it seems, and just to confuse further, there's the 50% midweek discount to be factored in to some weeks on top of the listed prices! Struggling a little to do the (rather rusty!) mental arithmetic on a week's fees at that site! - haven't quite reached needing a spread sheet to calculate, but may need to write it down!

The midweek prices are different for sites which offer 50% pitch discount from Monday to Thursday at certain times of the year. That's not something new, I remember seeing those for at least the last 3 years, could be more.
I'm not sure it's necessary to actually list them all separately though. Surely it's not beyond the wit of people to work out what 50% of a certain fee is? It makes the pricelist that long, you can't easily find the dates you're looking for.
IMHO of course

not exactly , a hard and fast rule, though, is it,
just looked up Seacroft club site in Norfolk, that site does'nt offer midweek discount, but the weekends are dearer than the midweek in the main

Seems to be pretty standard now. I have just booked a few days at Chatsworth in December and the Sunday is more expensive than the Monday and Tuesday. I suppose it makes sense given that weekends are very popular. Not quite sure how that applies to Sundays!!!

Just checked that site, but I can't see different prices for weekends and midweek anywhere April has a few different price bands, but that's the week before Eastre, then from the 8th to the 24th (quite a long Easter period!), then the last week which is lower than the Easter period. Then in summer a period from 6/6/22 to 21/7/22 and then from 22/7/22 to 31/8/22. Prices are the same throughout those periods, can't see any difference between weekends and midweek. After that most of September is 1 priceband, then October has different ones to take into account half term, and after that it's 1 priceband from 31/10/22 to 15/12/22.
I don't see where you get different prices for weekends on that site.
