we are relatively new to caravanning, loving it so far.
Currently we have a van sited at Willowbank at Ainsdale, Southport and we have found it to be an ideal location for us, but it is a relatively short season, ending 31st August.
Does anyone know of any other sites that take seasonal vans on this coast?

Willowbank advertise a 50 week season, but that is for the statics, touring season is 1st March to 31st August, I think they still rent pitches on a daily basis throughout the year.
I have tried the search facilit but its not upto date, riverside comes up but they don't take tourers anymore. I hoped there may be users that have recomendations other than the search.
There doesn't appear to be many sites in that area that take seasonal tourers... I may have to look at a different area altogether.

Site search shows 4 other sites within 5 miles that take seasonals, most of them are open all year. One scores 9/10 like Willowbank does, two score 8/10. Though of course the site directory might be out of date - admin only knows if we or a site lets them know of changes.
Not sure why you can't just extend your seasonal stay beyond end August by taking a touring pitch. Willowbank website says:
Car, Caravan (8.0M Max.) or Motorhome (8.0M Max.)...

High Season: 2 May - 1 September
