Has anyone been here, apart from the one reviewer? It's the only reasonably priced site in the area. No email, so had a rather strange conversation with the owner earlier. Me "hello, is that Inverroy Caravan Park?" Owner (Danny) "what, who?". Doesn't take bookings. Oh well, we will turn up and see what happens. I suppose we can always go to the big site almost next door and pay a big price.

Inverroy has got 4 reviews but none recent.
That particular area is a bit strange, in my experience. Its not particularly a destination, more for passing through because its not far from Fort William or the A9. The monument at Spean Bridge is an essential stop, and geology types look at the Parallel Roads of Glen Roy, a glacial feature. I tried to book a loop that way a few years ago & gave up because I got no response, but I cant remember which site it was.
Thanks Fiona, it is just for passing through, not a destination. Geology is my favourite subject so poor old Mr B will be subjected to the parallel roads.

The Roads are worth seeing because of the story they tell. It’s just that once is enough…
There’ll be plenty of exciting geology on your trip. I’d strongly recommend the GeoPark north of Ullapool (has its own website), as it’s totally awesome. But I think that’s too far west of your trip up to Orkney.
No, we are not going anywhere near there. Went to Ullapool many years ago, don't know how long the geopark has been going. I had a Russian seaman fall in love with me while Mr B was playing pool. Not recripocated!
