Wonder what either Club would define that as? No cooking, no toilet, no seating, just the bed. (Roof tents on sites I’ve been on have used a second tent / gazebo / driveway awning / tarp for cooking, sitting & eating, or just gone to a pub for the evening.)
Sites may vary in their replies, so you may want or need to flip to the definition that suits: one may not want wheels on their grass tent pitches, so it might count as a TT & go on hardstand. But the next site might have everyone on grass anyway. Some don’t allow tents or don’t allow the car beside the tent, so you’d want to be a TT. Some sites put tents along the back of the beach, so you’d want to be a tent. If you want EHU, you’re probably going to want to be a TT, tent pitches don’t always have hookups.
I expect there’ll be a bit of a learning curve, and no “one size fits all” answer. Let us know how you get on! It’ll help someone else when they ask a similar question.
