Hi all. We're hoping to head to the Gower in Mid August. A couple of couples and a few singles. All adults. Looking for site recommendations that allow campfires and are also fairly relaxed with later nights spent around the fire. I know some have a strict no noise policy after 11pm. Though I'm generally asleep by then, a few friends wish to stay up later and chat without disturbing others. Doesn't have to have great facilities, toilet and tap is fine with us. Must have good space though. Also, doesn't have to be exactly on the Gower but close by. Looking forward to hearing from you.
Cheers all.
M

With current dry conditions you may find open fires are not permitted for the time being.

I don’t know the area, so I’d start with the site search & set the filters. But I think all sites have some noise curfew, not just some. Even “quiet” chatting outside travels at night when there’s no other noise to mask it & can wake children or light sleepers, so you might want to see if Adults Only limits your choice too much.
Agree about the current fire risk; campfires are one of the filters you can set.

There is a site up in north wales called Aberafon which is beautiful. Has a pebble beach where you can have camp fires and sit there looking across teh sea to Anglesea.

Long way but might suit.
