Can anyone help we booked on a site in Cornwall for 7 nights with the grandchildren I don’t want to go into the nitty gritty but my daughter asked the lady running the site for the toilet block to be cleaned and some toilet roll had run out / the manager left for 20 mins and come back and said we need to leave the site immediately and give us back 2 nights refund and said she is keeping the other nights for a damaged floor sign which we have no clue about . Watched us pack up for 2 hours in 35deg grandchildren crying and made us wait a further 45 mins to sort a refund .
We feel we have been let down by the actions of this campsite . Can anyone let me know what I can do regards

I think for you to get an answer to your question you really need to tell the whole story, it is no good just telling us what you want us to know because what you have said doesn't make a lot of sense as to why what happened, happened and there is always two sides to every story.
Maybe email them, tell them how you feel and see what they say. Sometimes both sides can see things more reasonably after bit of time.
Worth looking at reviews of the site here and on other review sites to see if other people have faced similar problems at the camp as then you might get a feel for this happening before.
I don't think there's anything you can do as such, it's their site and similar to a pub they can ask you to leave.
You need to enlighten us on full story not just your version. No site owner would ask you to leave for just asking politely for cleaning and toilet rolls. On 50th year of caravanning and never heard anything like it.

Can't comment without knowing more, as I suspect it is a case of there is many sides to the picture etc...

Surely Trading Standards would not be involved at this stage as it seems that you have not made a formal complaint to the site owner. Secondly as far as I am aware you need to go through the Citizens Advice Bureau of an issue to be escalated to Trading Standards unless there has been a very recent to procedures?
That's a remarkably quick response from Trading Standards as well, all other factors aside, considering you have to go through Citizens Advice first! It's taken more like weeks than a day or two when I've tried, and for a relatively trivial complaint (no great sums of money lost, refunds were given, no obvious deceptive business practices, and right to use the camp site is at owners discretion), it seems unlikely they would engage with it anyway, certainly declined to deal with far more serious and widespread deceptive business activities in my complaint!
As others have said, nothing like the whole story being told, so impossible to either judge or advise on OP, but to my cynical mind, nothing like as straightforward as presented! Guess we will never know the outcome.
