Hi

Are there any sites in the Cheshire area that are open to longer stays?

I know there's the 28 day rule but hoping to find some sites open to longer stays.

Preferably close-ish to Macclesfield, if possible.

Thanks so much!
Sarah :)

Thanks for suggesting Royal Vale. It looks lovely but we're looking for something a bit more casual. Thinking farmers with a field could be ideal. Do you have any idea where I should look for this?

You’ll need the farmer’s Elsan or CDP to empty your toilet & you’ll need fresh water & EHU. So you’re looking for a small campsite with grass pitches & minimum facilities - try the site search & look for “members only” sites: a Certificated Site or Location might suit.

But you can only normally stay for a maximum of 28 days. There are sites that bend the rules, but they don't advertise that fact.

Camp Site Search and have a play around with the filters.

The OP could move from CL to CS every month, but I doubt any farmer will allow them to stay the summer in a field, for insurance reasons if nothing else.
