Well van is not yet done so need to crack on as only got 5 weeks until we go away for first time.
I wanted a site wit fishing and not to far for first trip and found Holme Valley Camping & Caravan Park, look snice near Holmfirth which i believe is a nice village to visit, well looked it on TV with Last of The Summer Wine.alos read ups etc.

BUT

Has anybody actually been and fished the lake?

I asked when i booked the site but all was said is what is in the lake

Anybody been an dfished ?

I looked but ones that mention fishing is very limited on info. Just say nice fishing lake or pond.
