Tried yesterday to book a 10 day jaunt somewhere! was looking at Scarborough. initially. Enter van details, size etc.etc.
Tried at least 10 yes 10 different dates. NO availability. Total waste of time, when they surely could change control to what is available.
Yes I I did try other sites also.. Same, same, same...
Why don't they just put when the site has availability, would be a lot easier for u us!!!

Have you tried phoning them direct? Much less frustrating than trying to second guess available dates. I did that with some sites in South Wales, gave them my possible dates, they said what they had available and I got sorted on the 2nd or 3rd one I tried.
Just rang them...Yes they have pitch available. Albeit on grass, no hardstanding. Seems because I wanted a Saturday, and that day was booked up it shows NOT available for rest of the stay.
Better off phoning in future I thinks......

👌👌👌👍.......
That is exactly as I have found. If you try and book a site for a week or more with a Saturday start date it will often come back as "fully booked", but try again starting on the following Monday - no problem! Hence why we always start our caravan holidays on Mondays. Sites that are full over the weekend are often half empty during the week, but automated booking systems only look at the start date it seems. We have often gone to a site for two weeks, arriving on a Monday to a site 75% empty. Over the middle weekend the site was absolutely chocker, but by the Monday morning it was half empty again.

Colin
