Picking up a caravan on Sunday from Preston, looking for recommendations for a site with an indoor pool for our swim obsessed 11 year old grand daughter not a million miles from there, a pub on site would be a bonus. Any ideas anyone?

A quick look on the camp site search has brought up Beacon Fell View Holiday And Touring Park which has an indoor pool and a family bar on site. Never been so I can't attest to how it is but it's got the amenities you are looking for.

Holgates in Silverdale is a big hit with our 12 year old granddaughter (and her 6 year old sister) who love swimming. Not a cheap site by any means, and not our cup of tea, but definitely full facility and gets very good reviews.

Holgates was recommended by someone else too. (Pretty area, Siverdale.) However the OP was picking up their caravan on the Sunday after 17/08/2023, so they’ve done the trip by now. I wonder where they went to?

Thanks for all the replies. Ended up at Windy harbour about 6 miles outside Blackpool, family site with a great pool and bars etc, mainly for statics but a small area for tourers.
