For 7 nights from next Sunday 1/10. CL or CS with ehu, near a river which can be walked along and NO TREES to the south. Anywhere within 80 miles. Looked at Lewes as we have never been there but seemingly no sites with ehu.

We were at a CS in the Yorkshire Wolds that would fit the bill but I’ll have to look for its name when the laptop is fired up. Not much help to you but maybe it’s too far anyway or you’ve “been there done that”.

Thanks Fiona, I will bear that in mind but it's too far away to do in one trip. Have booked a site in the Sittingbourne area. Thanks for all the other replies. Please let me know the name of the site Fiona.

Is Lincoln too far? Just returned from a CL called Diamond house. £18 with some elec included and rest metered. Basic facilities if you need them. Right on river, 5 mile pathed walk into Lincoln, bus stop outside.
