ok i have just tried booking that site from aprill 8th to 12th and on grass with ehu, and had no issues at all, i suggest you try again very quickly
Thank you. Apologies for not coming back sooner - I tried again after your advice but it still shows both types of grass pitches as fully booked. I wonder if it's because I only want to stay for one night on April 8th? I think I'll just book the hardstanding one as I will have had a long drive and would also like to try out a club site. Thanks everyone again.
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
Ah! C&CC sometimes has the very very silly rule of not allowing single night stays at popular times. On popular sites it’s a 3 day minimum. It means you can’t transit one night at Moffat in holiday periods (so we transit at an independent site instead).

the site the OP is talking about is a camc site not c&CC and like i said pitches are/where available to the time of my posting this morning

Apologies for the confusion, it is the C&CC that I have joined and therefore their Scone site that I've been trying to book. Didn't realise there was a CAMC site too.
I've probably totally confused myself even more, I get both clubs mixed up and didn't they recently change their names? Thanks again everyone for helping clarify things.

Scone is CCC. I must look up the CAMC sites at Perth as an alternative would be useful.
