Hi.

I'm borrowing a friend's VW camper for the bank holiday (probably 5 nights) and picking it up from Benfleet in Essex. I'm not familiar with that area at all so struggling to come up with a plan.

I think I'd like to visit 2-3 sites for a bit of variety.

Any ideas for sites or a router or whatever are very gratefully received.

Why not use the 'Camp site Search' facility at the top of the page. Just click on the dot for the county you want to search which numerous camp site will come up. Just filter through them then select which ones sound suitable by choice.

Do as Tango suggested. We like small sites with ehu and no other facilities. Other folk will only go to sites with a bar and swimming pool and there's everything in between.

If you are only staying for 5 nights then, personally, I would stick to 2 nights at the most. Any more and you will be spending most of the time driving or setting up the van.
