Has anyone been here recently? We stayed years ago and there was only 1 pitch where you can get a Sky TV signal as there was/is a large barn behind the others. Now I see that more hardstandings have been made, but don't know if they have ehu. Have asked, no reply yet. Does anyone know? Think I have answered my own question, reviews on FB state that more hookups are being put in, this was 2 years ago.

They used to have 5 pitches with ehu, seems that they now have more. I meant "do the newer pitches have ehu", didn't make myself clear, not for the first time.

i cant see why any owner would go to the expense of putting pitches in without putting ehu in aswell

Well, no, but you never know. It does state somewhere that they host rallies, I thought maybe the extra pitches were for that and non electric.

They used to use the field behind the hard-standings for rallies.
Many years since we were there but it was owned by a delightful young couple who did everything possible to make sure you were happy with the pitch etc. As I recall, they had various restauration projects on the go and plans for development.
We used the site several times to break the journey from Dover back to Cumbria. Only stopped because we don't do Dover any more - and don't drive down/back with the caravan!

I saw your review Bofs. We have been there too, years ago. The only time when an owner fetched our water for us which was a lovely touch. We plan to use it again on our next trip.

Google maps shows 8 pitches in the field behind the original 5-pitch yard. No shadows so I couldn’t see stanchions or not.
