If there are none here, or on CAMC, there are plenty on Google maps. Only one mentions “the Motorhome” site though (rather than the gun club experience) but they’re all positive. Photos there too, but not of the CL site / trees.
Thanks Fiona, now I think we might give that area a miss, and go from what looks like a nice CL at Earl Shilton near Leicester ( for the Richard 111 things) to Louth in Lincolnshire and then Peterborough (for Flag Fen and Holme Fen).
And we stayed at one of the best CLs we have been to on the way back, Happy Trails near Grantham. Review to follow once details are added. Didn't go to the site at Peterborough, too far off the route.
