Now that we are nearly ready to go away again. Derbyshire probably, not too far from civilisation. Upper Hartshay Farm looks nice, but at the top end there appear to be trees in the wrong place, at the end of the hard standings. Any other ideas?
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
Not been for a few years but Whitehouse Farm CL may interest you
There is ehu but no loos and showers which I think is fine with you. It's practically on the Tissington Trail which is fabulous for walking and its a very short drive into Ashbourne.
I stayed at Goatsfell Farm CAMC CL (https://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/details.asp?revid=10716) a few years ago, it was lovely. Fully serviced HS pitch. Easy access. Lovely owners. Keep meaning to go back, but not managed it yet, always been booked up when I've tried!
A bit on the fringe of Peak District, but most of it is easy to access by car, and maybe even bus (but I've not looked/tried!)
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
