Very interesting. By coincidence, we are having a few days in Bristol to celebrate our wedding anniversary although we have rented an apartment for the few nights we are here. Even more coincidence, without knowing it, we walked past that site this morning (a very interesting harbour side walk) on our way to view the Banksy “Girl with a pearl earring”
Gutted. It was our favourite CAMC site in our favourite city.
Yes, it was expensive but when you consider the costs to stay in Bristol with accommodation and parking charges, it was reasonable.
We will certainly miss Baltic Wharf and our many visits to Bristol all year round.

Hortham Farm CL at Almondsbury. Easy access and a good place to stop either en route to the West Country, South Wales or the Midlands. Only a few miles from Bristol.
I have never stayed there but used to race in the sailing races every Saturday afternoon. I expect my halliard slapping against the mast kept you all awake all night.
It certainly is a very special place with all the history and the lights reflecting in the water.
Sailing there regularly enabled us to see the yacht builders slowly turning a few trees into a luxury yacht. Incredible skill.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
