We will be staying at Camping and Caravanning Club in Salisbury this year and trying to do a bit of planning beforehand to save time when we are there.
If we have the hot weather again this year, our two Golden Retrievers love and need rivers to swim and cool down. Any advice much appreciated if anyone can help with this . Many thanks.
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
From Salisbury C&CC one can walk into the city centre along River Avon from the Fire Station into the city.
I can't remember seeing any dogs jumping into the river, however, there is nothing to stop them.
The newly completed river park near the big central car park looked nice when I was there in November 2025.
