Old Hartley is a “marmite” site: by the reviews, some absolutely love it. I hope you have a caravan: you’ll be fine - with their tail literally resting on the ground & jockey wheels up on bricks, they seemed happy on the hillside.
In a MH, we loathed it: I literally fell out of bed because of the steep slope on the new pitch we were given & we were up on maximum chocks too. I was so mad that I wanted to leave at 0300 & sleep in a lay-by. All for almost £60 pn, high season. A lovely manager does not mean the pitch is fit to purpose.
