60 sites for webmaster to check?! - though not all will have been listed in UKCS & some might have got bigger. Only a couple of closures might have affected our trips; one CL is on the NC500.
I wonder if those figures are for a couple of months as the Club publish monthly, on their website, openings and closures and I have not seen figures that high.

Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
Two on the list that I have considered using, but AFAIK one had been closed for maybe close on two years now anyway, so maybe just CAMC doing some overdue housekeeping rather than a raft of truly new closures!
Whatever is behind the long list, sad to see so many closures, I rather like CLs.
Have never stayed on a CL - would be happy to, but (so far) I haven’t found one in the areas I wanted to visit that has a WC. (MH toilet fairy insists on this.)
More likely to use a CS, which caters for tent campers who usually need an on-site loo. I wonder if CCC has a similar high number of closures: I should find the magazine & check.
We only have one CL which we visit whenever we go up to N.Yorkshire. We were up there last month for 6 days. The owner said she was finding hard to justify staying open as it it was barely breaking even. Amongst other things she is tired of 'no-shows' without so much as a text and people who cannot follow a few simple rules regarding recycling. £20 a night inc 13amp electric - quiet and spacious with nice views -- -Carlton Grange!
We do you use other CLs but rarely the same one twice. The ones we like the look of in the New Forest area always seem to be fully booked.
