We currently touring with a Gobur folding caravan, im the only driver. We love our Gobur - Wobbly Bob - but we are considering buying a bigger tourer and siting it on a touring pitch within an hour of home. We'd keep Bob and still travel further afield in him.
People have suggested a static, but thats not financially viable, plus we'd like the option to change parks after a year if we wanted.
I just wondered if many people do this, also any suggestions of good sites, adult only preferred, within an hour of Hull.
We like the Bailey Unicorn Cadiz with fixed single beds, anyone have one and can comment?
Many thanks ??

Not adult only but have a look at Grouse Hill near Fylingdales between Scarborough and Whitby. I know someone with a permanent touring pitch there.
Wierdly it is adjacent to Flask Inn where my family had a permanent pitch 65 years ago!
Thank you, I'll have a look

You would probably be better creating a topic in the caravan section with that question.
------------- XVI yes?
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.

Site search has 16 sites that have seasonals &
are adult only within 30 miles (less than an hour, but that was the limit) of Hull. If you added other features you wanted (toilets & showers maybe? A pub nearby? Sea views?) you’d reduce that number to something manageable & you could check the most recent reviews, then take your Gobur for a few days if it allows tourers (most do, in my experience).
Can’t recommend anywhere specific, the sites we know are too far away for yon.

Might be just over the hour, but we really like Overbrook at Thornton le Dale.
Adults only, walkable to the village, splendid facilities, helpful and friendly owners.
