Ideally quite with nice views.

have stayed at Whitemead in the Forest of Dean, I think Forest Holidays have a site there too.

Really enjoyed Whitemead, stayed in an apartment in March but off again next week taking caravan.

And Christchurch is at the top of the hill above Bracelands and is better (IMO only!)  - christchurch has more facilities and is nearer to the pub :p
