Thought I should try here too,

Were looking for a campsite with the beach close by in south west England. Prefer a site without a pub or entertainment, just good views, showers and loos.

Has anybody got any ideas if poss please.

There are a few sites in the area so it might be worth checking T'internet

twitchen parc is a good one as its part of the woolacombe bay campsitesz they run a bus between the sites and to the beach. they all have entertainment but you could just not go to it havnt been to easewell but that one seems to be for golfers

lobb fields in braunton is good .

although it has entertainment croyde bay is really good and you can walk to beach because it is really close. oh you would have to book this one thou as its always full

the showers are not brilliant, but OK, area is beautiful

How far do you want to go?

Beacon Farm at St Agnes is a lovely site with one of the fields with views right across to St Ives. Short walk to Chapel Porth and to the Wheal Coates tin mine ruins.

Renewed their shower block a couple of years or so ago.

A small site, with no bar, and just a 'shop' that is part of the site office selling just the basics.
