Please could anyone reccommend a good, clean child friendly site for a family of four in the new forest or on the south coast. Please do not reccommend Hillside camping in Verwood as my Wife got a nasty reception from the owner when enquiring about a future visit as he stated WE DO NOT LIKE CHILDREN. So if anyone on here could reccommend a site with the above and does like children please could you let us know as we intend going in a couple of weeks, so it is a bit of short notice but we has only just returned from Duinrell Holland where we had a fantastic week and just cannot wait to go camping again.
Thanks for reading this and looking for to lots of replies.

Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
The Camping and Caravanning Club have a nice site outside Verwood opposite the golf course, we had 12 nights there at the end of June. Good site very friendly and helpful staff, has a heated recreation/games/tv room.
we have just returned from Holmsley which is a forestry commision site. It is huge as it was an old airfield there are lots of tarmac roadways that are great for bike riding etc. there is enough space for them to play outside too. have a look in the site search or http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/reviews.asp?revid=1168.
hope that helps.
20 minutes from bournemouth and right in the new forest, as it is fenced off you can just go out the gate and see the ponies without having them eat your breakfast.

Try Hill Farm Caravan Park, Sheffield English, nr Romsey. No bar or pool but a friendly site within easy striking distance of New Forest (10mins), Bournemouth (45 mins), Southhampton (20 mins). Loads to do, beaches, Forest, Paultons Theme Park (Very Child Friendly) Etc, Etc,
TYhe site also has it's own 9 Hole Golf course!

Strong Drink is the only answer
Holmsley is my favourite New Forest site, hookup and non hookup pitches, dog freindly and dog free pitches, plenty of showers a shop, takeaway and play park.
Every sunday there is a carboot just outside the site
Many thanks for all your replies to my question about finding a campsite on the south coast or new forest. We have decided to go to Honeybridge park in West Sussex and looks really good for our 2 girl's aged 8 & 10.I wonder if any on here has been recently.
