I am looking for ideas of campsite for North Devon or South Wales, suitable for a small group of friends in their early 30s. Ideally, the campsite would be relatively near the beach and within walking distances of a pub (or pubs).
Thanks for any ideas
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
Have stopped at acorn not a bad site for the money, one to avoid if you want good toilet/ shower facilities is watermouth cove holiday park berrynarbor nr ilfracombe brochure claims "attractive toilet facilities (when carry on camping was filmed they may have been) "kept in tip top condition" sure the cleaned them everyday ans basically they were clean, but the lavs leaked and towels were put around the bottom on the toilet pan the clips holding the mirrors to the walls were rusty the roofs leaked they smelt, (think there was a problem with the drains). "constant hot water for washing and showers" NO! if you got in the showers after 10 o clock you were virtually guaranteed it would be cold. They were housed in a portakabin type building which basically was past its best and it definitely was not worth the price they charge
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
