Reighton is terrible, the pitches are a disgrace!

Does anyone remember Reighton Gap in the olden dayswhen it was a lovely seaside holiday resort before Haven "invaded"?.......or am I the only old fart who can recollect those days!

Val

Heres our memory of our 2004 august bh long 5 night holiday   to havens Reighton site , we didnt sleep we was up with kids playing on the swings and screaming at 2am, entertainment was that loud and bassey the pots vibrated in cupboard the van , complained to security they just laughted told us to stop moaning ,

And the pitch well it was a mud swamp when we got there , on a mountain ,it was that steep the front legs were not long enough , thus the concrete blocks ,

we pulled off next morning a 8am , after wife wanted to kill the manager ,
we went to a really nice rally site on top of olivers mount in Scarborough , cost us £6 per unit per night , with warm showers and loos .

the rally site is recommended ,we go back every year

pic when we arrived , so muddy ,
the hill was that steep my 4x4 struggled on it . check out the concrete blocks

sorry haven , but what a dump , not again , we asked for a refund. sent lots of letters and phone calls , but we never got it (surprise) , we didn't even get sorry , just a laugh of a security guard at 2am

Sorry But Haven is not for family's , Well not for our family
