Looking for a nice family campsite, as we are taking our nephews and niece for the weekend..
It doesnt have to be top notch, just clean with maybe a small shop on site or nearby and a play area?....
Have chose these areas as they are all about the same distance from us, makes us feel we arent camping in our own backyard, but also not driving into the night!...
Any suggestions are most welcome!

Kelling Heath near Holt in Norfolk is very good very clean and family friendly well stocked shop and great play areas swimming facilities are a bit pricey but nearby there is a very good leisure centre in Sheringham.Look at reviews on camp site search for further ideas .
Hope you find something suitable.
------------- Andy.... No such thing as bad weather...just the wrong clothes !!!
We recently spent a weekend at Hembury Park near Ashford. The site was well maintained, there was a playground and a table tennis/pool room for the children if raining. Excellent washing facilities (with under floor heating in the shower).
It's also very close to the Ahsford Retail outlet centre.
We've also been to Kelling Heath in a static van - excellent, but as the other contributer says a little expensive for the indoor pool - sports club visitor prices. Grat for walks on the heath and they even have a small station where the steam train stops and takes you to Sheringham.
We're looing for sites in Sussex also so if you find a good one let us know.
