The tides arent really a problem at all and you can check shell islands website or ring them about tide times etc. By the way, Barmouth is only about eight miles away - a lovely seaside resort for kids. And try to get to the Nantgol waterfalls down the road in LLanbedr too - absolutely gorgeous. The victoria pub in llanbedrt is pretty too - must stop - I want to be there now!

Hi,

Im off to Shell Island on Friday (3 more sleeps!!!) We love it there. It is very basic and I would not go for longer than 2 or 3 nights. I can not wait!!!
