hey thanks everyone gona start havin a look at some of those site`s you recommened

Not my back garden though, I hope-lol

i remember laying on my back on the cliff top site at Atwick around midnight one balmy summer night , totally clear sky , millions of stars , shooting stars, and the gentle noise of the sea rolling onto the beach below.

absolutely perfectly relaxing experience

Just placing my vote for Black Rock Sands Portmadoc.

Only wished I had taken some binoculars or better still me telescope DOH !

Just makes you realise what we as a planet are.

 Very Lucky? Alone?  Insignificant? Created?

Got to be anywhere in Cornwall! Mind you we went down for the eclipse and didn't see a thing.............second thoughts anywhere in the right conditions.

We were at Gunvenna in St Minver 2 weeks ago,we had the most brilliant star show including many shooting stars

Hi, we just spent a couple of nights in the green caravan park in wentnor shropshire, in the onny valley, came out of tent at 10:00 pitch black but the view of the stars was breathtaking. excellent campsite as well.
