I've left it a bit late, but I need to find a site from Friday for the week.

I am getting sore eyes looking at all the websites now! I have a 9yr old son and a tent. We don't like overtly commercial sites but do like a nice hot shower, a play area and marked pitches (at least). Is that being picky?!! A shop would be nice but not essential.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance for any replies!

Devon... mill park berrynarbor, just outside ilfracombe, Napps also in berrynarbor

Somerset Broadway house nr cheddar, 9 yr old would love it, pool, bmx track and loads of activities, all can be found in the site search.

dont have marked pitches though but do have shop, playarea, bar & do food. etc etc

Hidden Vally near ilfracombe is excellent- large marked puitches, kids play areas, nice bar and also a shop. - Just spent a lovely week there.

Another opion is Peppermint park in Dawlish Waren - again has shop, marked pitches, bar, club, play area and swimming pool - We are off there for bank holiday.
