Hi there
we were thinking of going camping to the lakes, specificly the keswick area but i have just phoned a couple of sites and they only do EHU for caravans and tourers which is a bit of a downer for us campers who like to have leccy!!!
could anyone recommend a site in that area or somewhere else in the north lakes that will let us plug in.

we generally don't go for the "holiday park" kind of place as we don't have kids so facilities can be basic.

any advice would really be appreciated!

Don't know if they have hook up for tents,but have you tried Scotgate in Braithwaite. I know, however that the Camping & Caravan Club site at Keswick do have hook up for tents!! This site is however busy so will require advance booking.Good Luck & I hope you get sorted .
