can anyone recommend me a campsite which is within easy reach of Snowdon(prefererably walking distance) Not fussed about a lot of ammenities as long as its got loos and showers and is within walking distance of a pub.

try the one in Rhyd Ddu.  its basic but you can see the top of snowdon (when the cloud clears!).  River running through site and you can have campfires !  One of my favourite sites!
