We have just bought ourselves a smaller tent for the weekends and want to keep it cheap, does anyone know of any sites that are basic and for less than a tenner a night, hopefully between us we might be able to get a list together.

Not sure, but I think Treen Farm (near Porthcurno) is pretty cheap - I remember one year the farmer took a couple of fish that my caught as payment for his pitch! lol

Birch Bank Farm near Chester. It on the camp-site directory with a couple of reviews. The price on their web-site is last years but when I rang I'm sure it was £10 per 2 adults and 2 kids.

Anybody know anything more about this place as its not to far from me and kids would enjoy staying on a farm but not many reviews listed.

The council owned sites on Orkney (Stromness and Kirkwall) were £9 a night if I recall correctly.
