Me and hubby not lonh back from great break in Edale paek district.Have a great time 2 dogs loved it too.Stayed at Coopers campsite very good site.Thinking of going again maybe next week.

I love Edale- Coopers campsite is great isn't it- stumbling distance of Cafe, Shop and two Pubs, amazing views, great walks starting from tent door...  mmmm... might pop down there in the next couple of weeks!

It's also a great campsite for later in the year as you can escape to the pubs to warm up in the evening!  Only problem we've ever had was last time we went there were gale force winds barrelling down from Kinder- tent poles snapping left right and centre (luckily not ours...)

PS:  Mr Cooper, despite reviews is just a busy farmer- however when we decided to strike a day early due to the wind (see above), he saw us (two girls) struggling to hold our tent down while taking the poles out and came over to help- was quite touched!

Mr Cooper was fine just busy man.We agood time its a nice site really handy place for pubs,shop,phone box etc.

My dad gave us a lift there and back,he had a run in with Mr Cooper.When we were going on the narrow path from the site Mr C was coming in we were going out,they both were glaring at each other neither would give way! It was quite funny! cos little did my dad realise it was Mr Coopers land he had right of way.Hope he doesnt recognise us next time we go.
