We've been twice. Nice site in the middle of the forest. Last time at Easter when it poured down. We were warned by the warden that if we got stuck in the mud it was our hard luck and they wouldn't be able to pull us out!!! And guess what? We did!! Young couple in tent nearby helped us out and he got very muddy in the process!!! Apart from that, it is a lovely site. You can walk and cycle in the forest straight from the site. They also give you a free pass to another big forest park - can't think of the name (Dalby, I think) and I think a pass for the steam train from Pickering. Hope you have a great weekend------------- Triss
