Sounds great i think itll be our stopping off point on way down to Looe we go very early to avoid traffic but then OH needs entertaining before we get into our cottage. I know its not camping but we do this annually with mum and she wont go in our tent or any other for that matter.

Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
We were there last weekend. There's a little steam train that goes round some little lakes that look like they were gravel pits. The Supakarts were good & my lot lurve the dodgems. There were boats like mini-trawlers, boats like swans and some ring-donut type boats that you go in & get sprayed with water.
We would have been interested in the 00 guage railway but it seemed to be closed. The entrance is inside an arcade. Outside in a shop-window they have 3 layouts you can put 20p in & see the trains moving. One slot was taped up, I put 20p in the second and one train went about 2 foot up the line and 2 foot back (not round and round). I didn't bother putting 20p in the 3rd slot. A bit disappointing really.
It was a bit expensive. If you're going for the day you can get a card that gives you so many goes on everything. If you're just stopping off you have to get tokens to go on the rides. £1 - 2 tokens, I think. Rides seemed to be 2, 3 or 4 tokens.
The whole place is a bit strange. Sort of 1950's-ish, a bit Hi-de-hi, if you know what I mean:-)
Yes we went to the Newton Abbot one last year just before it burned down & got loads of bargains. We visited the one at Liskeard the other week when we were in Cornwall, it was ok, but not as big & there didn't seem as many great buys as the Newton Abbot one. I'd go again though if we were close by.
its definately an interesting experience going there but almost always crowded & you can never find your way around, but you can get almost anything there, its been remodernised since the fire last year so some prices have gone up.i often go there when i have a free morning & come back with loads of stuff!!

Didnt they have a fire last year?
Yes they did, apparently they've had to completely rebuild the whole place. My friend always goes there for school uniform, the standard things like white shirts, black socks etc.
Falmouth Trago is with in walking distance of our house, OH spends half his life there. My son's car is called the Trago car because OH and son use it to collect timber, building materials, tools ect.( they are enthusiastic DIYers)
Hi - we live three miles from Trago - big fire last year - now they have gone a bit "up market " well up market for trago anyway! and now have nicer things at higher prices, still worth a visit though - camping dept v limited. My advise is get there early and get out by lunchtime, and never go on Sundays ! Jackie
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
