Nothing wrong with Grimsby really, but its Cleethorpes for the sea, Grimsby is just on the River Humber. Skeggy is great, lots to do, theres also Mablethorpe in between the 2 with a super beach.

Cleethorpes, the sea is brown, if you go to British Holidays website they have the big campsite south of cleethorpes, great for camping as your right next to the sand dunes (and sea if the tide is in, if not it's about oh...15 mile out lol)
Alot of Kite surfers/boarders etc go there its really good fun!

.......and at Mablethorpe and Skeggy the sea is clean and safe for bathing etc. but it is not clear due to the waves churning up the sand.

well i haven't been camping in grimsby but we took the kids to thorpe park caravan site ppl were camping there we had a caravan for the weekend coz it was the suns 9.50 holiday deal june half term
the town is rather dull, sea always seemed to out , well out when we were there and due to bad weather had a boggy beach lol
as my hubby likes fishing we visited the fishing heritage museum which he loved and had some great history about the town
