Help required please !!
New (ish) to camping and didnt think that everywhere would be so full over the bank hol wk end !!!

Any ideas of where i can find a site to accomodate my 8 man tent ?
Hampshire or Sussex preferably please !!!!

How about joining our mini meet in Malmesbury? No exactly your area I know but there is a family from Farnborough coming. Look at the thread on the 'Rallies and Meets' section - there's plenty of room and it looks like it's going to be a good weekend. there are 6 units booked so far and the more the merrier!

The only place i have found was in dover its called hawthorn farm caravan park martin mill. thats where im of two..... good luck hunting...

Hi, we too need help for Bank Holiday. Because we have to work Saturday we can only go to a site from Sunday to Monday. It seems most parks have a 3 night minimum. Does any one know of any sites within an hour to hour and half of Wigan that will do one night only.
We are brand new to caravanning. Bought 1986 caravan on Wednesday of last week and went to Blackpool's Windy Harbour site on Sunday/Monday. Loved it. I am now an ex-snob who always thought holidays were about how many stars my hotel had.

best bet is to put up a new topic,and try that way a lot more people will see it that way .good luck

We eventually found a campsite this morning and have managed to book in for saturday-monday

There is no minimum amount of nights either.....

yep, we are in the same situation

we are also new to camping, our first outing was to holmsley - New forest 08.08.05, then to alton towers - Star last weekend, now weve got the bug big time and with a couple of days off fancy going again.... it's so cheap.

we are after a site for sat to tue in east sussex or around southend, we are in ashford, kent and dont want to travel to far.

If your in Ashford,then why not try the place Ukcs held a meet earlier in the year Woodlands in Biddenden (just up the road).I wouldnt think you have any chance of Ehu if you need but the field is large and you may be able to get in.
