Hi I have booked a weekend away at the Gatehouse Wood Touring Park, postcode TB15 7SD. Has anyone ever been there or know of it? Whats it like?

I am going alone in a small tent so only need water and loos. Anything else is a bonus.

Yes yes and Yes - We went to this site for a weekend in August and had a fantastic time.  V clean site, great friendly owners, walking distance to local beefeater pub which was not great but was ok.

The site is in an old gravel pit so the ground was well drained and it was very sheltered.

One of the only things i would say is go with your food/beer - there is a tesco's direct locally but the nearest big store was over 30 mins drive.  saying that they had a little shop on site which was good and you could order your morning newspaper.

Noise is kept to a minimum and even when full - which it was when we went it is not al all crowded.

We will defenitely visit again
