We were away on the west coast for a week in August had a fair mixture of rain, wind, and sunshine, certainly never stopped us having a great time though! The beauty of the rain is that all the waterfalls are seen at their best, saw some lovely ones around Ardnamuchan, went to Fort William on one of the few days it wasn't raining there, had a lovely afternoon down by the harbour. For me the big attraction to Scotland is the fact that the weather is unpredictable but at the same time when the sun is up in the sky shining down on us then you would be hard pushed to see such amazing scenery and contrasts in colour anywhere else!

Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!

Funny Tonus it was a Friday with us.
Must have been in a seperate time zone in Aberdeenshire LOL
I think you 2 are telling porkies, we've just come back from 2 weeks in Scotland of which 1 week was spent in Aberdeen, apart from 1 day the weather was good if not great. You have some terrific spots, lovely fishing villages and some excellent municipal sites. You just want to keep this much under-rated spot to yourselves!

But it´s all right now, I learned my lesson well.
You see, ya can´t please everyone, so ya got to please yourself
