Dont CAMRA list which pubs have camping adjacent ? Alternatively the Caravan Club & i think also the Camping & Caravan Club have in their directories a list of pubs with CL's or CS's attached.
That was quick Suzy, I'm sure it wasn't there when I posted, thanks Ratty, but now I re-read it, I havent actually mentioned the real ale, I know they had Adnams among others. Hope this helps.
The loos were clean and plentiful, the ground was very hard (pub doing a roaring trade in rock pegs), it's in a very out-of-the-way location, play area is outside the pub which is on the other side of the road!!! (The sort of road where there may be nothing go past for half an hour, but when it does, it'll be doing 50!) There are rope swings hanging from a big ole tree on the main site though, which looked much more fun than the play area anyway. The pub is nice, food is nice (but waited a long time for it), changing area for the pool was a bit tatty but the pool itself was fine, people very nice, pub has live music on a saturday night...
Edale in Derbyshire not sure of site name but there is a real ale pub accross the road called the Nags Head. The site is pretty basic lots of walks nearby, shop on site toilets and shower bit old scenery from the site is lovely. This was our first ever camping trip this year so I dont really have a lot to go on in respect of showers. The site a farmers field and quite basic I think not so sure of ehu either unless in a caravan. There is also another site on this road quite near to Edale train station again not sure of name but I have been told the site is better kept.
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
Eden Tree House in Bradwell (near Hope) in the Derbyshire Peak District is right behind a very good real ale pub that also does good cheap pub grub and has live entertainment at weekends.
Additionally, the village has three other pubs, all within 10-15 inutes walk from the site and all seving real ale.
I stayed on a site at Silsden in yorkshire about 6 years ago and It had its own pub that was supplied from a small local brewery unfortunately I cant remember any of the important details appart from the fact that the beer was the smoothest best tasting pint I ever had ,and it was consistent cause I had quite a few ,(which is probably why I cant remember the details!)was only there for one night though.
canna remember which pub is near site but try one about 1 mile from lechlade , if you go around time of the farford air tattoo they do bookings as well, i would recommend it its really really good food in the pub.
would stay there myself but missed it this year as didn't know about it until two days after the air tattoo, ps site is next to lechlade canal as well.
site takes tents, caravans so you would get in, phone the pub for bookings as its there site
as above but was looking at a site in devon, deer park c and c looks really nice with swimming pools and pub next to it see reviews on ukcampsite.co.uk
