Thanks for all the comments and advice, keep it coming as we are looking at the camp sites and places being mentioned getting ideas of what we like/don't like.

North Wales is good in June. I have found that if you do get wet days in Snowdonia you can often do the short drive on to Anglesey and find good weather.

I like the Bodnant Caravan park at LLanwrst, very handy for Betwys y Coed, and also Bron y Wendon near Colwyn bay (good if you want a coastal site). There is also a great site at Penmaenmawr, with views over the Great Orme and Anglesey (the name esacpes me at present).

Have looked at some of the sites and quite a few seem to be fairly basic without electric hook up especially.  We don't want luxury, pools, bars, entertainment etc but will need an EHU.  The views seem to be terrific from the surrounding sites that's for sure.  Roll on summer, I am one SAD person in the winter especially as it got dark just after 5 today.
