Don't know East Fleet but went and had a good look around Pear Tree when we were staying with friends this summer for future use. Wonderful site, spotlessly clean facilities, quiet, not too big, good sized level pitches with hedges inbetween. Good accessibility to all area attractions - Corfe Castle, Swanage, Jurassic Coast walking etc. Good cycling too in vicinity, although plan well or you will be on very busy roads! A lovely area - we intend staying here at Whitsun.

Actually, just looked at East Fleet here on website and it looks great. Weymouth is too big and brashy for my liking but the site is 3 miles out. If you were going for longer than a week, I think this one may be preferable?

Very good site, if you book a large pitch, they really mean LARGE.
The showers were a bit hot, but that was the only gripe. The 11pm curfew was like a switch. Very helpful staff, when I asked them for directions to a nut & bolt supplier to repair the roof rack, they came up with the bits and wouldn't take any money for them.
A very good site

Only been to Pear Tree. We liked the clean loos. I have never seen facilities so clean. The play area was one of the best for the kids. Opens space, little tykes, giant draughts trampolenes sand pits etc. Prefer Swanage area to Weymouth myself - not so brash.
Thanx hailmax. But on Pear Tree web site the tent pitches dont look as if they have hedges inbetween. Are do you have to pre-book them ones Would be nice to have hedged pitches.

Went there earlier this year in a tent, going back next year in a caravan. Got a great pitch right at the top of the Stable Field, about as far away from the loos / showers as you can get, but with a fantastic view of Chesil Beach, and glorious sunsets evry night. Quiet site despite loads of TT's/tents, helpful staff, great on-site pub/restaurant. The new shower block was clean, plenty hot water, and very little queuing. Recommend it every time!!
(Did a review on the site listings on UKCS for a bit more!!)
