I think Fishermans Creek on Hayling Island has slipway. Hayling Island is in Hampshire on the South Coast. It is a nice site, looked at it this year. But no beach as the name suggests, it is on water inlet that is almost dry at low tide. Plently of boating around that area though.
We go down to Hope Cove, South Devon each year. There are two sites about a mile up the valley, Bolbery Down and Kerrigeen, and people seem to take such boats down the road on similar trailers and launch them from the old lifeboat slip way. Can get launching tickets for the day or week etc.
How do they get the boat to the site without a road worthy trailer?

Thanks these sites look very nice but i will have to see if it suits my friend. I still dont no weather he can take his trailor down that road. If its like a country lane with not much traffic he might get away with it.

They have a caravan so along with the boot they get it all in, including the engine. they inflate it when they get on site and it stays inflated untill they go home.
what about north wales, barmouth/harlech in particular? we have untill we got the caravan stopped at shell island it is great for those with boats/canoes etc however shell island is canvas only site but there is a tiny little site (field with a tap) its only a couple of quid but you could walk the boat down to the water from there, its only a couple of minutes and just use shell island for the other bits such as showers etc.

Hi, we have a similar boat - travels in the boot but inflate it at site - then we car-top it to wherever we're going. So far we've had it out on Derwent Water from Castlerigg Hall caravan site (the C&CC site has its own slipway), Kippford Estuary from Kippford Holiday Park (Very tidal) and Trethem Mill Caravan site at St Mawes- we used Percuil Sailing Club facilities very reasonable. Would suggest that if he can car-top it the possibilities open up considerably ...
