Hi

Here is a test for you experienced caravanners! We bought our first van this autumn and have squeezed a couple of (local) weekends away in already.

We live in Derbyshire and would like to take our van for a week long holiday next June and ideally (with having an 18 month old) a maximum tow of 3 hours, preferably less!

We are looking for:

- nice showers and toilets (our is an old van no shower!)

- friendly wardens (being beginners and with a tiddler in tow)

- not too squashed together (Tiddler gets up early and loudly)

- walking distance to nice beach

- short drive to town with nice eateries

- a national trust house/good local walks/things to do for tiddlers

- oh and if we could book sunshine every day too....

Grateful for any ideas, we have thought of Whitby and Norfolk and looked at exisitng threads for sites in these areas, so new inspiration would be gratefully accepted...

Thanks (I am getting hooked on these message boards)

Rachel

Hi & welcome to UKCS

not sure of parks in those areas but someone is bound to know some good places to go.  Hope you enjoy your caravan as its a lovely way of life and often offers great freedom for kids to enjoy !
