not sure of the dimensions of your tent, but we stayed there last year in a Royal Sassari 6 if that helps!. We stayed on one of the far right top pitches of the stable field (great views, really quiet), I think it was 321, something like that.
Anyway, the pitch was HUGE!!, plenty of room - we had tent plus gazebo, with room to park the car as well. We did ask for a larger than average pitch though.
Great site, going back this year in a caravan, hope you enjoy it if you've not been there before!!
If you stay in the stable field, it's only a couple of minutes extra walk to the posh toilet/shower block in the main field, but the peace and quiet, and spectacular views, make up for it!!

What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it's all about....?
I've just received their new 2006 brochure and it states that if your tent is over 7 metres you must state and an additional pitch fee may be applicable...so I would give them a ring if I were you, just to be on the safe side.

It's nice to see that we are being talked about. We have changed the pitch spacing this summer and all pitches will take units with max dimensions of 6m x 8m - small pitch discount available for 2 man tents or sm campervans without awnings. We have some pitches that will take 'giant' tents - these are 1 1/2 pitches and are charged 1 1/2 tariff. We are also delighted to have (at last) got planning permission to replace the portable facilities in stablefield with a permanent building. It will have 8 shower suites (shower, toilet and handwash) plus ladies and gent loos, disabled and inside dishwash. Building work has commenced and we hope it will be open in early July 2006. Oh happy days!!!
Happy New Year to all our regulars and thanks to everyone for the fab reviews.
Aaaaarggghhh!! We're going too early!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Congratulations on the planning permission Richard - we'll be there in May; do I take it the portable facilities won't be available? No real hassle if not, just curious!
Oh, and while I think about it......we'll be travelling down from Kent overnight (caravan), and will probably be in your neck of the woods very early hours of the morning. Is there anywhere local we can park up with a view to getting a couple of hours kip once we're there? (Local services, that sort of thing?)

Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
All being well the portable units will be operational right up until the new facilities open.
You should be ok to arrive early. Please park up in our lane, on the left opposite reception. Obviously bear in mind there may be campers sleeping in the first field.
