Hi all, We have booked for Sandy Balls for the Feb Half term. Their web site suggest when coming from London to use the B3078 after the motorway. Can anyone please confirm that this road is suitable for caravans? I have learned to my cost in the past that B roads come in all sizes, some NOT suitable for vans.

If thats the B road before Ringwood off the M27, through the forest, its fine for caravans, we used to fight thorugh Ringwood and go up to Fordingbridge, but it much quicker to go through the forest, and Ringwood gets chocka block!
As you say take this road through the forest to fordingbridge ,its off the motorway at junction 1 and over the cattle grid ,follow the road until you come to the next cattle grid by a pub just before fordingbridge , the road narrows through two traffic islands once you have reached this point you are only half a mile from the site it is then on your right hand side .The road is fine for caravans the only thing to remember is that the forest is a 40 mph speed limit and this is for the good of the animals and not the xmas fund of the plod hope this helps
