Hi im looking for a campsite which hires static caravans very close to the beach as i have a 2yr old and an 8yr old children.the holiday is mainly for the kids so plenty of activities.also it would be nice to have a club for evenings with the children.i am looking at end of july to august,school holidays.

Hi Julian have you thought of getting a tent as most kids look on it as a adventure also its a lot cheeper for the price of a statice you could go camping for a year lol, also you could join in on a meet, the kids love them you will also get a lot of help/ advice from the ukcs members regarding equipment ect , sorry carnt help on the static good luck in your quest ,

try beverley park in paigton it has everything you need for a good holiday with the kids and also a club for the evenings which includ a kids club.they have static caravans and lodges.we have been twice and only stopped going because we now have to take our dogs withus

Hi.Ruda park at croyde Bay in devon is superb for kids and adults right on the beach..royell.

thanks for that info ,we have used Parkdean before but not camping so were thinking of giving it a go as the reviews are very good.

Hi Geoffb,i am thinking of trying a tent as you suggested sounds like fun for the kids and us too,do you have any sites you could reccomend south devon way close to a beach if possible and also a good tent to buy for neewbies family of four and other equipment we may need ,thankyou for your help julian
