Hi, now I am on the right page, Can You Help? I am looking for very basic , quiet site approx 1hr drive from Oldham, must take a dog and would like walks straight from site if possible. Just looking for PEACE and nice walks. Here's hoping!

Sorry I'm not sure where Oldham is does an hour take you to the peaks?

Try C&CC at Glossop, loads of nice sites in the peaks and basic too!

Check the National Trust they run and own quite a few sites and they are frequently your quieter self-sanitising type sites.

Welcome to the site, I live in Milnrow so not far from you, have a look at the site below.

Its near hebden bridge, so if you go over blackstone edge should be within an hour of you, but it only takes tents not sure what you have.

Thanks for all your replies, we are members of C&CC. Was looking for sites some of you may have been to and which you could recommend. The one for jerusalem farm, I left a review for that, did not rate the access to the site, very hard work. Thanks anyway for the suggestion. We do like tents only if possible or tourers, rather than static sites, too much coming and going, especially at night.
